About Camp Jam 

Camp Jam’s multi-level curriculum schools students in every aspect of playing in a real rock and roll band. From playing techniques, plenty of band rehearsal, song writing, to stage presence, Camp Jam’s variety of classes will turn the bedroom player into a bona fide rock star. Not only do you learn from a rock legend, you get to take the big stage on Friday.

If your child is ages 7 to 10, why not have them spend a week of fun jammin' out in their very own rock band, designing their own marketing packet, and participating in team building activities - all while learning from the best professional musicians in your area. That's what Camp Jam Kidz is all about ' a bunch of kidz, having a good time while learning how to rock out!

  Camp Jam Day Camp (Ages 11-17)

Monday-Thursday 9am-4:30pm | Friday starts at 9am with the concert at 6pm

Camp Jam Kidz Camp (Ages 7-10) 

Registration Fee Per Session:
$424
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm | Friday starts at 9am with the concert at 4pm


Location: St. Mary's College of Calif | 1928 St. Mary's Rd | Moroga, CA | 94556

Session Dates: July 23 - 27 | July 30 - August 3

Aftercare: Kids can stay up to 5:30 for $20 per child if paid in advance and $40 per week if paid at the camp.
Kids can be dropped off as early as 8:30 (BUT NO EARLIER) for no additional charge.

 

 

Camp Jam Overnight Camp (Ages 12-17) 

Registration Fee Per Session:
$1,495 (additional sessions $1,345)

Hours:
Starts the Sunday before the day camp week | Friday concert 6pm

Camp Jam San Francisco Area Director: Steve Sage
Steve has degrees from Musicians Institute (GIT), and Cal State State East Bay (Theory/Composition). He has studied with some of the best guitarists and music educators in the world (George Barnes, Howard Roberts, Tommy Tedesco, Joe Pass, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, Warren Nunes, Dave Creamer (Miles Davis) and Frank LaRocca (Composers Inc).

Steve is best known for creating and sustaining the 'Rock, Rhythm & Blues' program at Diablo Valley College, a program that has helped groom many professional players over the past 22 years. Steve has taught at Diablo Valley College, the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Skyline College, the Guitar Institute of London and San Francisco State University.

Steve is endorsed by Melancon Guitars of Louisiana, and has played with many legendary musicians. He has performed as a Coaster, a Drifter and an Imperial with Little Anthony. Other performances include playing with and or members of Kathi McDonald, Tommy Tune, Quicksilver, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Journey, Starship, Malo, Huey Lewis, Steve Miller, Joe Satriani, Spyro Gyra, Boz Scaggs, Carlos Reyes, the Tongue 'n' Chic Orchestra, and Chick Corea. Recently recorded tracks for Fred Ross on the Oakland Stroke label, which was produced by Jeff Tamalier (Tower of Power, Starship).
