Phoenix - Camp Jam - Rock and Roll Day Camp

Camp Jam’s multi-level curriculum schools students in every aspect of playing in a real rock and roll band. From playing techniques, plenty of band rehearsal, song writing, to stage presence, Camp Jam’s variety of classes will turn the bedroom player into a bona fide rock star. Not only do you learn from a rock legend, you get to take the big stage on Friday.

If your child is ages 7 to 10, why not have them spend a week of fun jammin' out in their very own rock band, designing their own marketing packet, and participating in team building activities - all while learning from the best professional musicians in your area. That's what Camp Jam Kidz is all about ' a bunch of kidz, having a good time while learning how to rock out!

Camp Jam Day Camp (Ages 11-17)

Registration Fee Per Session: $549
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-4:30pm | Friday starts at 9am with the concert at 6pm

Camp Jam Kidz Camp (Ages 7-10)

Registration Fee Per Session: $399 (additional sessions $349)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm | Friday starts at 9am with the concert at 4pm

Aftercare: Kids can stay up to 5:30 for $20 per child if paid in advance and $40 per week if paid at the camp.
Kids can be dropped off as early as 8:30 (BUT NO EARLIER) for no additional charge.

Camp Jam Arizona Director: Carole Pellatt Carole Pellatt was born in Montreal Canada. She started playing guitar when she was twelve, inspired by players like Bruce Cockburn and Paul Simon. She started gigging professionally at the age of fifteen playing acoustic guitar in coffee houses and by the age of eighteen she was playing acoustic and electric guitar in original rock bands. In the mid-eighties I left Montreal and moved to L.A. to attend Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood and studied with bluesman Keith Wyatt, Jazz Legend Joe Diorio and the allstar faculty staff. Carol has worked as an intern at RCA records and as a technical musical consultant on films, including a project with guitar great Steve Cropper. Carols has recording two cd’s “Modern Day Condition” and “Songs From The Middle Of Nowhere” with Fred Duran Plan and currently free lances with several of her Duo, Trio, Quartet and Quintet projects she calls "Boneyard". Carol still plays lead guitar with Valley Singer/Songwriter "Freddie Duran" in the band FREDDIE DURAN PLAN, as well as DESERT FIESTA. Carol has been Camp Jam's AZ director for the past 3 years.
