Camp Jam Arizona Director: Carole Pellatt
Carole Pellatt was born in Montreal Canada. She started playing guitar when she was twelve, inspired by players like Bruce Cockburn and Paul Simon. She started gigging professionally at the age of fifteen playing acoustic guitar in coffee houses and by the age of eighteen she was playing acoustic and electric guitar in original rock bands. In the mid-eighties I left Montreal and moved to L.A. to attend Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood and studied with bluesman Keith Wyatt, Jazz Legend Joe Diorio and the allstar faculty staff.  Carol has worked as an intern at RCA records and as a technical musical consultant on films, including a project with guitar great Steve Cropper. Carols has recording two cd’s “Modern Day Condition” and “Songs From The Middle Of Nowhere” with Fred Duran Plan and currently free lances with several of her Duo, Trio, Quartet and Quintet projects she calls "Boneyard". Carol still plays lead guitar with Valley Singer/Songwriter "Freddie Duran" in the band FREDDIE DURAN PLAN, as well as DESERT FIESTA. Carol has been Camp Jam's AZ director for the past 3 years.
