The Ultimate Rock and Roll Experience for 2010

Camp Jam is cranking up the program in 2010 for the optimum rock and roll band experience. More live playing time, updated songlist, additional instruction classes, open counseling sessions, new masterclass artists and Rock House DVD learning labs are just part of Camp Jam 2010!

Bands will also explore their creativity as they break off into interactive song writing sessions to write and perform their unplugged originals for a behind the scenes video filmed by Camp Jam’s live audio and video tech students! Videos will be uploaded to the Camp Jam TV channel on youtube!

Camp Jam bands will crank it up on live pro gear everyday in more live ensemble rehearsals and stage performances as they perfect their song and stage presence techniques for the Friday night rock concert! All bands will be assigned stage techs just like the pros for the ultimate real rock and roll concert experience!

Rock n Roll Experience at Hard Rock - Feb. 18-20, 2010

Rock n Roll Experience (our adult camp) has just been announced for Feb 18-20, 2010 in Atlanta with a performance at the legendary Hard Rock. Have the time of your life playing and partying with platinum rockers including our own Jeff Carlisi of .38 Special, Liberty DeVitto, Peter Stroud from Sheryl Crow, Jeff Adams from Startship and a special surprise guest. This rock EXP is unique because of its intimacy. There are never more than 25 participants so you and your band are guaranteed to have plenty of one on one time with the rockstars.

Camp Jam Alumni Chosen as Semi-Finalists in SchoolJam USA Battle of the Bands!

NAMM, the trade association of the international music products industry, has selected Camp Jam Alumni THE SWITCHFITS of KENNEDY CATHOLIC and KIRKWOOD HIGH SCHOOLS to move on to the semi finals of the SchoolJam USA teen battle of the bands competition.

The nationwide contest, sponsored by NAMM, is designed to encourage teen bands across the United States to demonstrate their musical talents and enjoy the many proven benefits of making music.

Michael Jacksons Guitarist returns to Camp Jam in 2010

Jennifer Batten will be appearing at select camps for Master Classes this summer!!!

At one point Batten was in 6 different bands, playing everything from straight ahead rock, to metal, fusion, and funk. A major turning point came when she was selected from over one hundred guitarists to play in Michael Jackson's highly skilled band which toured the world for one and a half years playing for over four and a half million people. In the spring of '98 Jeff Beck asked Jennifer to join his band. They joined forces for 3 years on the CD’s "Who Else", and “You Had It Coming” which were both supported by world tours....
