About Camp Jam
Camp Jam’s multi-level curriculum schools students in every aspect of playing in a real rock and roll band. From playing techniques, plenty of band rehearsal, song writing, to stage presence, Camp Jam’s variety of classes will turn the bedroom player into a bona fide rock star. If your child is ages 7 to 10, why not have them spend a week of fun jammin' out in their very own rock band, designing their own marketing packet, and participating in team building activities - all while learning from the best professional musicians in your area. Camp Jam DC Area Director: Michael Kramer Michael Kramer is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland scheduled to graduate in Spring, 2011. In 2007, he was awarded first prize in the Jonathan T Deutsch competition for young jazz composers. He enjoys a busy schedule as a guitarist and educator in the Washington DC greater metropolitan area. Through Camp Jam, Michael has had the opportunity to play with Jeff Carlisi, Derek St Holmes and Christine Ohlman. Michael has also played with John Mosca (director of the Vanguard orchestra), Stephan Schatz, James King, Fred Foss, Tony Martucci and more.

Follow four of our Camp Jammers as they embark on their weeklong journey at our Camp Jam Overnight program in Chicago.
