Popular Summer Music Camp Program For Kids Ages 7-17 Adds Overnight And Day Camps In 2 New Cities. Camp Jam, America’s most comprehensive summer rock music camp for kids and teens ages 7 to 17, announced today that it will rock and roll into two new cities across the U.S. this summer. Debuting in Atlanta in 2004 and expanding into 17 cities over the past six years, the summer camp sensation with the mantra “No Canoes, Lots of Rock” will now offer new day and overnight sessions in Long Island, NY and San Francisco, CA along with an additional overnight camp in the D.C. area.

Most camp jammers dream of going from the classroom to the main stage, but Camp Jam alums Sam Koltun, Harry Russell and Tony Pepper of the band Switchfits made their dream a reality by qualifying as top 10 finalists in the first annual SchoolJam USA competition presented by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) in January 2010.
